It's definitely hypocritical to say that one side politicises? What' the record on politicizing disaster relief? 

And not to stick up for Cali.  I'm not a fan of their politics, but how much does that state contribute to federal taxes compared to any other state in the country.  How are their citizens being held hostage by a bunch of hypocritical republicans?

There is a constant threat of fire in that area. Not just the last year or so it has been for thousands of years. People have been screaming at California to clean up the brush for YEARS but that fell on deaf ears. So much so the insurance companies started dropping policies because the threat was too high. If insurance companies can see a threat coming, there is a threat coming. They just kept building bigger and collecting the highest taxes in the country, ignoring the threats around them. Remember when Trump warned Gavin a few months back that this was a threat but you all just laughed at him? Pepperidge Farm does...

What does that matter? So because they give more money to a wasteful government corporation that means they should receive more during crisis? This is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, shouldn't matter who is battling a crisis, they should receive the same treatment across the board.

If hurricane victims weren't mostly ignored by our government then I'd be all for helping cali, but a precedent has been set by this administration and it needs to be level across the board.
