It's been decades since we had one who didn't.

Indeed there is, but when unintelligent people claim "You can't put out fires with salt water because "... the ground will 'never' grow anything there again...". Oh, and my favorite one; "... the fire engines can't use salt water because it will 'ruin[/i][/b]' the equipment...".

That kind of ignorance you just can't reason with. The MAJORITY of well intentioned people that live there believe this, because their politicians told them this.

Sadly, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Waiting....for exactly what Trump was alluding to when he stated that Kali was "hit but we won't go into that now" (paraphrase).
Rumblings, suggesting DEW's, and suggesting Chy-Na owned DEW's....

3...2...1... SmitFerBucky's crazy faces, because of coarse it's glowball warming as 16c temp is hot enough to cause spontaneous combustion and multiple fire points at similar time etc....

Has he ever done anything that you don't?

This wasn't about whether or not I support Trump. I legitimately wondered what the hell he was talking about. Trying to get an answer in here when the answer might make Trump look bad, you might as well be sticking your dick in a meat grinder. The answer was pretty simple. There is no fucking faucet you can open to bring water from the Pacific Northwest in to California. It's likely that there never will be. I didn't think that was that difficult.   Instead, I got two full pages of deflection and a bunch of name calling. Like I was the one being difficult?  Give me a fucking break.. lol.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

That was my thought when you asked the question. What the fuck does that have to do with the conversation we were having.

Just saw the list of required permits to rebuild. It is just absolutely staggering. And each one comes with a pricetag and a gaggle of bureaucrats.

It was shown to me by a friend's co-worker. The property in question is an acre in Malibu. It was his grandfather's who put the property in a trust where it has remained for around 60 years.

He may have to give up the property if my math is mathin'. The property alone will probably re-asess at close to $10m. It's got a nice ocean view.

I know the area. My grandmother's brother bought property in that area in the early 70's. He had horses and we'd go there and ride them when I was a kid in the mid to late 70's. After he moved out in the early 80's, he rented it to Cheryl Ladd for a few years. I always wanted to meet her as a kid... what boy in the 70's didn't?

That's true.

Just try to realize that by the time you asked the question I'd had about enough nonsense for one day.

Quote from: CADCAM396 on January 26, 2025, 06:23 PMnot as simple as a valve but trump will be trump. we do have a huge ocean of water on our coast?

The largest one in the world.
California is also dumping a shit ton of water into that ocean.

"An inch of rainfall just in L.A. generates 3.8 billion gallons of runoff."
And guess where that goes....into the ocean instead of capturing it and using it.

Quick google search for "California rerouting water into the pacific" brings up an article from 2015--
No Trump this or Trump that and valves and faucets in the search.
