All of this talk about who is the bigger liar is meaningless. Name one politician who is not a consummate liar. If you do, you're lying.  :)

You've never been around people where that's all they talk about?
Why is it ok for some people to constantly talk about it but not ok for some people to say they don't want to hear about it?

I think a distinction needs to be made between speaking in superlatives, hyperbole, and taking bad information from your advisors and running with it vs. lying.

Bill "I did not have sexual relationship with that woman" Clinton = Lie

Donald "Gavin Newscum caused all these fires in LA" Trump = Hyperbole

If those two contrasting statements are the same to you, then you might have TDS.

You're right. There is a difference. Trump does both. Trump is in a more or less constant state of hyperbole and that's a lot easier to ignore than Trump saying something like "Newsom 'refused to sign' a declaration that would have allowed water to flow from North" when there was no such "declaration".
