Trump's lawyers handed them the case on a sliver platter and those two COWARDS punted.

Yeah, I get that.
But SCOTUS could have taken the case now and finally addressed the issue of jurisdiction, which would likely have had the original verdict overturned.

Instead, Trump will have to slog through the corrupt NY appeals system, which will likely end up being appealed to the Supreme Court anyway.
It's frustrating that SCOTUS simply kicked the can down the road instead of dealing with it now.
