My daughter Jennifer texted me last night.
She told me she had injured her shoulder and had been x-rayed. From the x-rays they found several good sized nodules in her lungs. Her doctor is setting her up with a specialist.
She told me that she had been short of breath for some time. I remember a long time ago she mentioned that she had an inhaler.

Anyway, my medical degree from Google tells me that multiples nodules is not a good thing, so I'm worried about her.

My wife brushed off her cough symptoms, never getting a PET scan and being treated for apparent pneumonia. I think the diagnosis was actually largly correct as the incredible cough never subsided until after a hospital IV drip of of triple antibiotic. That was some time after the stage IV cancer lung diagnosis.
Prayers She's (your daughter) catching it soon enough and young enough for the fight

Oh wow! I'm sorry to hear about this.... I've had a number of friends go thru all sorts of health scares, and as far as I know, we're in a better time than ever before to deal with most health events. (I'm not sure that helps you worry less, but perhaps it's something to consider nonetheless).

Best wishes for you both!

We have a guy at my company. He got sick just before COVID. Anyway, that trip to the doctor got him a test that discovered he had Pancreatic Cancer. They discovered it so early they were able to remove the cancer before it became the death sentence it usually is. He's been healthy since. Annual checkups continue to be positive.

Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise Mike. Maybe they'll have caught things early enough to work the problem effectively.

The shoulder injury was a fortunate accident.

I hope it's just an infection. I am glad they found it.

Del.

I have a few nodules in my lungs. They scan me every year to make sure they are not growing. Best wishes for your daughter. It seems everyone has something going on anymore.

Best wishes Mike. It's good they found them during the x ray scan. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
