By far the best nickname he's ever given.
It still makes me laugh whenever I think about it.

It put his ass in check too. Something the previous 3 administrations (Obama, Bush II, and Clinton) were unable to do.

It did?  He launched missile(s) a couple days before drumpf met with Xi in S.Korea

The most recent missile tests by North Korea included two hypersonic missiles on October 22, 2025, and a short-range ballistic missile on November 13, 2025. These tests followed the display of a new, powerful intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) called the Hwasong-20 at a military parade on October 10, 2025.
November 13, 2025: A short-range ballistic missile was fired toward the East Sea. This launch followed U.S. sanctions and the arrival of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in South Korea, and was seen as a response to these actions.
October 22, 2025: North Korea test-fired two hypersonic missiles, which it claimed demonstrated a new weapon system. The projectiles reportedly hit their target on a tableland in North Hamgyong Province.
October 10, 2025: A new ICBM, the Hwasong-20, was unveiled at a military parade. North Korean state media described it as the country's "most powerful nuclear strategic weapon system" and a potential delivery system for multiple nuclear warheads.

You do realize that Trump called him that SEVEN YEARS AGO, right?

I'm just saying N.Korea is still doing the same stuff, and it doesn't even get mentioned, but clearly it hasn't stopped.

For the time period I was referring to (1st Trump Administration), yes to the best of my recollection.

Truth is, we have no idea about any of it. And "leaks" are always "approved releases".
History has shown if there are any genuine leaks, it very quickly affects the persons ability to breathe....

The only thing i'll say with Trump, is he's great at talking with "normal people" - he'll stop, give them the time of day, have a smile, laugh and photo with them.
And i loved the way he flew straight to 'lil rocket man 1st time round and all of a sudden the whole NKorea shite stopped.

North Korea stopped?  Theyve got troops in Ukraine and they've been testing missles the whole time. Trump just stopped talking about it because he didn't so anything, and therefore it doesn't interest him

All that's pretty funny, those motherfuckers do great to get a bottle rocket off the rail.  They aren't a real threat to the United States.

I Really like the "North Korean state media described it as the country's "most powerful nuclear strategic weapon system

99.8% propaganda from the North Koreans

Undoubtedly.
Still, they keep at it, and it gets brief mention in the news at best.  It doesn't seem to be a policy priority this time around.
What I quoted was just googles' AI summary, not from any particular source.  Maybe the AI bots are scanning N.Korea state media?  I have seen reports of recent missile launches in standard media outlets mentioning specifically that one was a day before drumpf was to be is SE Asia, why I looked up dates.

Given what's going on, domestically, in europe, and the middle-east... if I were a betting man, not "a policy priority" is where I'd put my money.

It's that .2% that levels cities though.

What is difficult for us to "KNOW" is does he REALLY have the capability to send something over the pacific to our shores? I think he just might.

Our North Korean intelligence is about as good as Pre-GWOT for Iraq. Maybe. If we're lucky.
