I wonder if in the history of fascists, there has ever been one that wanted to give the public more gun rights and/or move control of education to local authorities rather than federal authorities. just seems odd that a fascist would do that. He might be the worst fascist that ever has been.  Trump might just be the jimmy carter of fascists. but what do i know, all I know is what i read in the papers.

Let me know what you find out. I don't think those things are really considered fascist/not fascist but you might find something if you look. :shrug:

I'll bet we stand higher in the fascism spectrum when you consider how the government is now trying to make congress and the judiciary irrelevent (which congress and the supreme court seem content to contribute to) so one man can control everything in the name of MAGA.  :whistle:

conspiracy theories never really go away. If Maxwell comes out and says Trump was friends of Epstein but he didn't particpate with the underage girls. Democrats will say she's holding back. In every good conspiracy there is always one more piece of evidence that is lacking in the minds of the people who believe them. The only thing that will make people satisfied is if she tells the worst story possible about the person that people are rooting against the hardest.

And I'm not saying this to try and prop up republicans or Trump in particular. Republicans were the main ones pushing this conspiracy before democrats pounced on it. If this was always a big nothin-burger, they get what they deserved in using it for votes.

It always aggravates me when either party focuses on conspiracy theories rather than policy differences.
