conspiracy theories never really go away. If Maxwell comes out and says Trump was friends of Epstein but he didn't particpate with the underage girls. Democrats will say she's holding back. In every good conspiracy there is always one more piece of evidence that is lacking in the minds of the people who believe them. The only thing that will make people satisfied is if she tells the worst story possible about the person that people are rooting against the hardest.

And I'm not saying this to try and prop up republicans or Trump in particular. Republicans were the main ones pushing this conspiracy before democrats pounced on it. If this was always a big nothin-burger, they get what they deserved in using it for votes.

I would not go so far as to say there is anything new. but it's not a nothing-burger.
