Quote from: Incogneeto on January 29, 2025, 07:06 AMIn Cali it literally takes legislation to do anything.

That is why Trump Bypassed and used The Army Corp of engineers to turn it on.

:headscratch:

When the maintenance was finished, weren't they going to turn the water back on anyway? Would that really require legislation?

You and me both.  lol.

All you have to do is turn a big valve. It takes a day to turn.

Hmmmmm Let's see.

The cover on the reservoir In Palisades was torn so they drained it.

It's been Two years and The reservoir is still empty.

Is it Fixed?? 8)

Were The pumps a priority??

Was the Money spent to fix them granted or Diverted for saving some fish?

Or for The Homeless?

Quote from: Jeff on January 29, 2025, 07:00 AMBecause he's letting the media lie for him. He's in the hot seat and knows he needs to stfu for a bit.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust Newsom to tell me the truth any more than I do Trump. So who are you supposed to believe? The statement saying that Trump was ehem, resorting to hyperbole, came from the California Department of Water Resources.

Probably, but they were just letting them sit and not repairing them. So Trump steps in, and gets shit on for it. Typical lefty media things.

You're going to have me looking in to the Paris Climate Agreement before you know it.

That I don't know. I haven't seen anything saying that?

Quote from: neurosis on January 29, 2025, 03:17 AMThe fucking pumps aren't pumping water from the pacific northwest. He's completely full of shit. lol.

Admit that it's impossible for a Trumpster to call him out for being full of shit.  All you guys do is say shit like.. oh, that's just trump being trump.  Yea, he's fucking liar.  lol.

By the way, was the military really involved in this?
This is more about you, than Trump.

Quote from: Jeff on January 29, 2025, 07:39 AMFrom what I gather, the pumps needed repairing.

I have a feeling that "turned off for maintenance" is not necessarily the same as repairing. It would not surprise me in the least that they call turning off the pump for environmental reasons such as maintaining habitat for one reason or another, as "turned off for maintenance." I have no proof of that, but I know how government agencies speak.

Ok, and do you think they want their "reputation" tarnished because Trump had to step in and get shit done?
Of course the bluest state in the country won't admit Trump helped.

You could be right.

If Mount Shasta, the headwaters of the Sacramento River, was 60 miles north, (the Oregon line) the water would have come from the Pacific Northwest? Is that what we are quibbling about here?
