I bring up Canada because it gives context to what Trump has been saying for Month(s?) on the campaign trail. That he could bring water in from the Pacific Northwest and Canada by opening a big valve, to solve California's water problem.

There is no way to bring water down to California from Canada by opening a valve. You could probably convince me that he just doesn't know what he's talking about when he say's Pacific Northwest.

that is different from the water that you were talking about earlier. (Turning pumps on that were off) If I'm understanding that tweet correctly and if it's even a true tweet. He must be talking about trying to get water from the Columbia River into California. that's ambitious. Probably not impossible, but that would be a major project.
