I've lived here since I was 10 years old and this is what they taught us in school.

I also have friends that live in Northern California. They don't say that they're from the Pacific Northwest.

I don't know if you're talking about me, but that literally has nothing to do with my argument.  lol  I've never once said that there aren't pumps in Northern California.  In fact, we've already discussed those pumps and other water sources inside of California in other threads.

Well I googled "what is considered the Pacific Northwest" and 9 out of 10 answers say Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, Western Montana, Alaska, Yukon, and BC. So it's like the Midwest, it depends on people's view of what the PNW constitutes. IMO it's the states with old growth trees, mountains, rain, and mostly cooler weather. Which would INCLUDE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

This all started from his campaign speeches and his interview on Fox news when he said he could turn a faucet and pump water from the Pacific Northwest and Canada. There is no way to get water in to Southern California from anywhere North of California. That's been my argument.

Then as you know, these conversations just devolve in to nonsense.

I would be surprised if a fraction of the people in the flyover States had any idea what the Pacific Northwest is or even give a shit. They know it as commieland.  Portland and Seattle.  Nothing else.

TBF... the western side of Oregoon and the western side of Washintoon is basically Northern California in every way, shape and form up to and including it's politics. That is true. All of those Californians came up here and ruined our State.
