Isn't it precious how Menendez was out in public saying how Trump is right about malicious government prosecutions? 

He forgot the part about malicious prosecution of 'innocent' people.
He was caught red-handed, so the gov't didn't need any kind of trickery like stretching and twisting the state and federal statutes like they had to do to make Trump look guilty.

Anyway, Menendez's wife will also be facing a trial for her part in the coverup of his crimes.
I don't think she will get sentenced to nearly as much prison time as him, but if she was a willing accomplice she should receive some kind of punishment.

It was either Menenez or some other person of alleged significance... the husband and wife were both convicted and the guy was like "... if we both go to prison there will be nobody to watch and raise our children...".

Gee... maybe THAT should have been a decent deterrent for doing crime. "If I do this, I could get caught and go to jail and nobody will be there for my children."

That's why I don't do a lot of stuff I want to do, I am the sole bread winner for my wife and I. I go to jail, she'll be homeless sooner rather than later. She doesn't deserve that just because I want to do stupid shit, therefore I don't do stupid shit.
