I sent him some $ as well, hopefully this doesn't bring more hardship on the family.. Lord knows they gave been thru enough.

that's some kind of crazy , so glad he and his are ok as far as physically goes that is ,
had my second car smashed by a drunk driver when I was a kid , lost my car all the stuff in it and had to pay the towing fee $600 back in 87
the driver ran but was apprehended and then tried to hit a female officer ... he got the Rodney king treatment hog tied and stuffed in the back .
no insurance on either side , so that sucked . just got the car a few months earlier after my truck was stolen a year earlier, tough year being 19 .  
love how we have this community that pulls together.
gives me hope that there are still some good ole joes out there , seems far and fewer all the time.

Colin helped me by posting  link to where I could make a PayPal donation sans smartphone. Follow the link to the eMastecam topic and scroll down till you find his reply to me.

On an Android you can hold down on the code until a menu pops up then select search Google Lens. It will bring up the URL. Click that then log into your PayPal and it will go to his tip jar. Or take a picture of the QR from another device and it should give you the option to open the link.

Unfortunately I can't link directly to his account from here.
