Looking back, we were talking about the presidents right to unilaterally get rid of Federal Agencies.

I happen to think "birthright citizenship" is not as you are interpreting it, or better stated, you are not taking into account the FULL text of the Amendment.

There are a few words that people ignore or are not concerned with; "... and subject to the jurisdiction thereof...". If someone comes here illegally, meaning they break the law to come here, overstay their visa, come here with illegal intentions, etc..., are they REALLY "subject to the jurisdiction thereof..."? I don't think so. And I'm not alone.

Many people (none of them Democrats) are asking SCOTUS to examine this very subject.  I've personally held this position since the early 1990's but nobody paid attention because they thought as you do.

 So, "Constitutionality" is up for debate at this moment. What did the founders mean? Did they mean born here no matter what? So on it's face it's not unconstitutional for the time being... until at least it's adjudicated. And it looks as though it may be adjudicated. 🤞

As for the 2nd Amendment... states AND the Fed have been violating the letter AND the spirit of the 2nd Amendment of Constitution for the better part of a century. Seems as though there's been too many illiterate smitforbrains jurists over the years... because "shall not be infringed" was too complicated for their puny brains to interpret. Thankfully some of that shit is finally getting walked back because we have some literate judges not willing to legislate from the bench anymore.
