Scam alert!

So I get home yesterday and my wife tells me that a quilting friend of hers asked her to buy $150 in Amazon gift cards as a favor to her and send them to her niece because she(the friend) was having a problem with her bank account and it was her niece's birthday. After a few back and forth texts my wife went to Amazon and tried to buy the cards.

Amazon promptly locked down her account, thank you Amazon. I told the wife that it sounded fishy to me so she calls the friend and discovered that the woman's email had just been hacked.

I've been getting a ton of CV-19 vaccination survey requests via email these days.
I have no idea what kind of scam they are.. my email a/v quarantines and vaporizes them on sight

I keep getting these annoying calls both at work and on my cell about how my car warranty is about to expire.
I don't have a car warranty, but that doesn't stop them!
On my cell I must hang up and block the number 3 or 4 times a week, but the calls still keep coming on different numbers every time.

About 20 years ago a girl named Janet gave a wrong number to an online car insurance scammer
Sadly, the number she gave was my cell number.
Since then my cell number has been sold to all sorts of phone scammers.
There is not a week in the last 20 years that some scumbag hasn't called looking for Janet
with some kind of lowlife scam to offer.

I have gotten 2 scam calls saying they were from PCH and I won 5 million and a brand new 2021 Mercedes, all I have to do is go to my nearest Dollar General.  Not sure what for as I have never gotten that far to find out what they want me to do once I get there...
