Disinformation?

What the he|| is that?

I'll tell you what it is... it is a way to censor people.

Period.

There is no such thing as "disinformation"... there is only information.

Put it all out there... let the liars discredit themselves... which they assuredly will.

Freedom of speech means... yep you guessed it... the freedom to say WHATEVER you damn well please.

Period.

Hey Reko.  I just wanted to point out that it's OK to say hell here.   :lol:   We don't have any words censored.  It wasn't really working on the other forum anyway.  We always found ways around it.

Do you consider propaganda to be nothing more than "information"?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Disinformation is CIA policy.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false" — William Casey Director of the C.I.A. at an early February 1981 meeting of the newly elected President Reagan in the Roosevelt Room of the WH with his new cabinet secretaries.

I don't know if my memory is correct, but I believe the founding fathers understood that the system of government they were proposing would only work with an intelligent, educated populace...then you watch things like Jay Leno asking people on the streets basic questions that any literal moron ought to know and yet these people have no clue...and you know our country is in trouble.

One problem is people don't have the tools to even figure out what is true and false. How many here know what 'logical fallacies'' are? I know Matt called me on one a few weeks ago, but not only would I guess most people don't know what they are, but I think most people don't even care. Was it Doug or Thad who has been joking about anything that disagrees with what he believes is by definition wrong, and even though I know he's being sarcastic, I think that sentiment is true for most people. They simply aren't even open to the possibility they could be wrong and the other tribe right or even partially right...

Even among relatively intelligent people, there are some who believe "logic" is whatever you want it to be, that "logic" and "thinking" are synonymous.
