I haven't been drinking so far this year to really lock in with working, anyone else got any?

I'll be doing my normal few month drinking hiatus as well, but tbh, I haven't been drinking much anyway.

I've been dealing with some health issues, so drinking even just a couple of drinks makes me feel like shit. Because of that, I just haven't been drinking to my full potential. :lol:

I was at my daughter's for Christmas. There was lots of alcohol there. I asked my wife if her drink had alcohol in it. She said no. I took a drink and said, yes this has alcohol in it. (I've been sober for 5 years) My daughter got all concerned and asked if there was some sort of ritual I had to perform now. I said no I'm good.  :)

Oh... read more "physical" books. I've been reading books online, my phone, etc... I retain more when I read a physical book for some reason. Go figger...

I've been living here temporary while we buy a place, which is actually above wifey's brothers gym.
We've been here 4 months and i put on 4kg.

GOOD NEWS.... I found a shop that has ordered a new battery for my ebike, as i had to leave the batteries in Spain because "dangerous goods".... while everywhere is full of eleccy scooters being shipped in by ChyNuh, by literally, the ship load.... :rolleyes:

Well now that I have to have knee surgery in a month, my plans are now changing or at least delayed. I was intending on making this year a productive year doing contract work. Now that I will be on limited mobility for a few months I am going to have to put that on hold for a little bit. I have been doing a lot of business/computer automations at work. My plan was to start doing contract shop automation/software stuff and keep developing my business automation skills. I think I will have to use that downtime to stay on the computer and keep working on more automations and AI agents with the plan to start selling those services later in the year. AI is moving so quickly it's almost a part time job just keeping up with the newest and weeding out the influencer/media BS.

As for fitness, obviously that will be on hold for a bit. I was hoping to level up in BJJ but now I may not train much at all this year. I also had my sights set on hitting the 1000lb club. That is a 1000lb total for one rep, squat + dead lift + bench press. May be later in the year when I get past early PT and get into strength training I can work on that goal.

As for Drinking, I rarely drink anymore. I probably haven't had a drink for at least 4-5 months. I also have pretty much quit THC as well. It just seems like the physical cost of consuming those things is now more than I am willing to deal with.
