That's a pretty sweet design. I'm a little surprised to hear it given your experience with the company....if I remember correctly 🤔

I went with the regular entry level Springfield Hellcat. It's been totally reliable but not exactly a tack driver, lol.

Yup, time I suppose...and it is a very nice piece.

I still would never work there again  :)

Plus with all going on with my health, my current EDC being a .45, I want to slightly downsize as I am losing muscle strength....

Who knows where this all goes...

My XdM 3.8" .45 has been a reliable and accurate shooter for 13 years...I do have a Ruger SR9C that I was floored how accurate it was out of the box

I also got the new model Kimber 9mm CDS9. It a pretty piece. Aluminum frame, steel slide, and prefect machining finishes. Looks, feels and shoots like a more full size piece, but if you line it up with a micro hellcat, it's virtually identically sized. So far not super confidence inspiring with the second round failing to go into battery. Roughly 10/200 rounds jamming. Waiting on a RMA approval🧐

I have a Ruger SR9C. Had to do my own deburring. Shoots good now.

I think my newest item is a .22LR suppressor. A SilencerCo SwitchBack.

That's disappointing for such an expensive "supposed to be" hand built custom pistol.

I'm kind of a CZ guy.  I put together a sweet CZ457 22Lr with the match barrel in a MDT chassis.  Area 419 everything and Timney trigger.  I shot a 10rnd group making one .4" hole at 55 yards.
My 2nd newest gun is a CZ Shadow 2 in 9mm.  I love that gun as well.  Too big and heavy for a carry gun, just a range toy.  Still need to send off the slide to get cut for Holosun dot.
Wish there were 1k+ distance ranges around me.  If so, id prolly build a long range rig, maybe 6.5 PRC.

My first ever purchase was their Pro Carry II TLE in 1999. Thing has been absolutely fantastic. I can count the jams on one hand and it's more accurate than me...reference some buddies blasting away at a 6"(?) camping stove propane bottle bottle with a rifle an missing hilariously 🤭...i got it on the first shot after opening my mouth.
Kimber ha had some QC issues as of late. This CDS9 was supposed to be their turn around piece.
They're not all that custom. More like premium production of all metal guns. Custom stuff would 4x more.
Went to a fancy store in downtown charlotte: rows and rows of pistol makers from $4000 to 8000 :o
