we bought the stuff from our friend for $2/lb hanging weight.  We've been selling our own for $2.25 but are raising to $2.40 this fall to compensate for the rising fuel prices.

Quote from: Smit post_id=8687 time=1616511711 user_id=66...I like just a little char on my wings so those look perfect.  :_thumbup:

And half the char goes away when you give them a shake with Franks-n-butter. They were good enough without sauce. But if I'm eating them, they'll always get sauced.

Those Meat Church rubs are all really good. My wife's new favorite is The Gospel. She better not get tired of it cause she bought A LOT of it...

oh it's fine, it's just not as good.  Way less marbling and flavor than my own beef, and they take a good 30+% more feed to get to finish weight.

Which take 30% more feed? Angus or yours?

I just wanna say I am disappointed in ya'll. I'm a year round griller, but even for you slackers grilling season should be in full swing.

Last night's menu was homemade fries with Joe's KC fry seasoning and some garlic aioli and brats...

">

">

">

And a batch of smoked Cheez-its for a friend who was dying to try them...

">

And my kid in KC mailed us a little care package...

">

I see another brisket in my future. Can't wait to see how it stacks up against Joe's Big Meat Rub.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

It's supposed to hit 70° this afternoon which is about 30° above normal so I'm gonna be grilling tonight :cheer: . Don't know what. I'll stop at the store on the way home.

I grilled Burgers other day.  Grass fed beef, bacon and homeade sriracha aioli sauce with habanero pieces.

O/T  Greg,  How are you posting your pictures here?  I can only do it through imgur or another image hosted site

I use Imgur, but only on a PC. Can't do it on my phone. For PC, click the pic in Imgur, copy the BBCode, and paste.

This Bullseye thing gets HOT...

His and hers for dinner last night. After I smoked them to an IT of 105ish and the big grill, I threw them on the Bullseye for a couple minutes a side...

It was pretty tasty. We have an excellent Chicamo(Messican/Amish  ) butcher shop that has the best meat around.

Tried something new from them last night. As good as their steaks are, their burger and bacon are out of this world. So why not mix them? They now sell premade bacon cheddar burgers...

">

Meh, they were just ok. There's something about pre-pattied burgers than I just don't like.
