There are an equal number of videos with Repugs discussing how to cut SS also. They're still doing it.

As I said, if some guy on a street corner says something about gun control the gun people would go crazy.

It's a top play by both parties to scare voters into taking their side. Some Republican/MAGA/Trumpster classics that work like a charm on the cranially challenged:

- Liberals are coming for your guns!
- Non-white people are taking your jobs!

- Non-straight people are going to turn your kids gay or trans or both!

Here's the thing, I don't think it ultimately matters. The law would need to be changed and that just ISN'T happening, not even in this climate.

There are people throughout government that don't believe in one thing or another but the will to change them does not exist. That same thing applies in this case.
