It's a proven strategy that works for Trump.

Is the fact that he was granted legal protection from deportation relevant? I also don't believe that this was administrative error. It was a case of asking forgiveness instead of permission.

It's like I said before the election. We were fucked no matter who won.

I guess it all depends on what the meaning of "is" is...

I think that's going to depend a lot on who you ask.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Del.

Can we send the military to get him out?

They tried to get the plane in the air before the ruling and refused to turn it around when it was in the air so yeah, except they don't give a shit about forgiveness.

Welcome to America, vote for who you think is going to fuck you less (or better I guess depending on your perspective.) :)

This seems to fit perfectly in this thread. :)

Welcome to your "new" United States of America.

The State Department is changing its mind about what it calls human rights

QuoteThe Trump administration is substantially scaling back the State Department's annual reports on international human rights to remove longstanding critiques of abuses such as harsh prison conditions, government corruption and restrictions on participation in the political process, NPR has learned.

Despite decades of precedent, the reports, which are meant to inform congressional decisions on foreign aid allocations and security assistance, will no longer call governments out for such things as denying freedom of movement and peaceful assembly. They won't condemn retaining political prisoners without due process or restrictions on "free and fair elections."

QuoteBy law, the State Department releases annual reports for every country, and they traditionally follow one basic outline. The cuts ordered in the Trump administration memo are not targeted at specific countries. Rather, they eliminate entire categories of abuses from all the reports.

But some deletions are more noteworthy than others. The Trump administration recently negotiated the transfer of immigrants from the U.S. into El Salvador's notorious prison system. In a draft of the forthcoming report on that country reviewed by NPR, the section on prison conditions is erased. The only remnants of those violations are reports on prison deaths that fall into the category of "extrajudicial killings" and a mention of abuse by prison guards in a legislatively mandated section on "Torture and Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment or Punishment."

This appears to be another good fit. Welcome to Amerika Comrade. Show me your papers.

Quote from: neurosis on April 18, 2025, 06:45 AMI have a hard time believing that people are this callous. "The threat of". I mean, I can see that people are? I'm sure that I would be labeled naive for having too much empathy?
Look... when someone invades another sovereign nation illegally, there has to be consequences. HAS to be. Those consequences should be so severe they opt for the legal route.

Is it callous to want to know who exactly is entering my home? No. It's prudent. So too should we know exactly who is entering our sovereign nation.

The Democratic party is more worried about illegals and criminals than U.S. citizens.
They have proven that many times over, especially about the deportation of these scumbags.

Broke no laws?
He's an illegal immigrant. Undeniable.  Law broken upon entry, which makes him a criminal.
Has ties to MS-13, if not already a member. Undeniable.
MS-13 is a foreign terrorist organization. Undeniable.
