Quote from: gcode on May 30, 2025, 04:57 AMWhere were the "checks and balances" when President Autopen was leaving our borders wide open, granting asylum
to millions from Africa and South America and pushing trillions of dollars into green energy boondoggles with no oversight?

More info is coming out that Elizabeth Warren was in charge of the autopen, and just about everything with his signature is autopen, not just executive orders.

The checks and balances on the President should come from the the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Do you not understand that there are three branches of government?

Quote from: Jeff on May 30, 2025, 05:01 AMYeah, tell me there aren't a bunch of activist judges....
"The number of injunctions against Trump in his 1st term alone account for more than half of the injunctions issued since 1963. And Trump had more injunctions in one full month of office in February than Biden had in 3 years."  ~Karoline Leavitt.

Spouse of judge who issued the ruling against Trump tariffs has International Corporate ties that benefit from that ruling.
Nah, nothing to see here, move along.

Hey dipshit, ask yourself why there have been so many injunctions against Trump. Hint: despite what your little world of misinformation tells you, it's not because of activist judges. Trump has repeatedly ignored the Constitution, and blatantly stated that he doesn't have to follow the rulings of judges.

And while I know this might be a little difficult for someone with limited cranial capacity such as yourself, imagine if Biden, or Harris, or Hillary were to do the same thing. You and your band of knuckle dragging fact deniers would have an absolute conniption fit. Hell, you guys go batshit crazy over shit that didn't even happen :cough: stolen election :cough: raid the Capitol :cough:

You're conveniently forgetting that Biden DID do the same thing. Remember when he went against the SCOTUS ruling completely ignoring The Constitution? Yeah of course you don't.

they spent the last 4 years doing exactly that
by all accounts Biden has been a house plant for about 6 to 8 years now.
An unknown cabal of Democrat activists have been usurping the power of the Presidency
using Biden's infirm state and an autopen to enact their political agenda.
This had to be common knowledge in DC power circles, yet no one spoke up.
Now we suddenly have constitutional crisis because Trump is trying to unwind some of this
traitorous conduct.

I do. And it pissed me off.

Were you pissed? Because if you were, you should be now.

Yes.. the big difference is there were no legions of judges lining up to file injunctions against
Biden's illegal conduct. We didn't even get a whimper of protest from our useless Supreme Court.

There are three branches of government. They all get elected.

Judges are appointed.

There was a little more to it than that. Technically, the Biden admin didn't move forward with the plan the Supreme Court rejected. They changed the plan in an attempt to push student loan debt forgiveness through.

It was a different plan, and it did receive some push back. Personally, I was going to be pissed off one way or the other. As someone who never had the opportunity to go to college, student loan forgiveness is ridiculous. I can acknowledge that I'm pretty biased in that opinion.

That's where you are wrong. There is a Fourth administrative state beyond the bounds of the Constitution and untouchable by any other branch

Deep state is not just a conspiracy theory
