100 men vs one silverback gorilla!

This topic is trending lately on social media. Who would win, 100 men against 1 silverback gorilla. Many arguments on both sides. I am not sure myself.

I guess if I was to believe gym bro science there is no way 1 plant eating gorilla could beat 100 high protein, high cholesterol, meat eating manly men! Surely the gorilla is weaker than it looks because it only eats inferior protein from plants.

Only way for 100 men to win is to pile on the silverback. There will be a sacraficial layer of bro's but 25k lbs of men thats the only way i'd see the humans winning in fair hand to hand combat. 

However I wouldn't be surprised if the humans could never get enough weight on him to pin him down and the silverback still wins.

Maybe all 100 charge at once?

Yeah, and gorillas actually have a pretty low stamina, like they're not running a 100yards.   Just run him down till till he's gassed and pile on.  many will be sacrificed, but 100 men would take the belt
