California gas prices are already among the highest in the nation. With several refineries closing within the next year, prices could go to over $8.00/gal.

And before Brokeback and Shitshow pipe in about it not affecting the nation, keep in mind ANY and all  goods that have to pass though Californias ports and cargo terminals will be impacted. Passenger and cargo flights into and out of California will also  see substantially increased fuel costs.

While I am generally not a fan of feds taking over a state, when those running a  state make decisions that impact the rest of the nation vis a vis higher costs due to their onerous regulatory environment,  it may just be that time. Clearly there are no adults running that dumpster fire.

There are no pipelines servicing California so the millions of additional gallons of gas the state needs every day will be trucked and shipped into the state.

I'm not a Newsome fan. He's a gigantic hypocrite.  His interview with Charlie Kirk was kinda interesting. I was surprised at how cordial he was.

I do think that it's refreshing to see any democrat start moving toward the center.  I'd like to see that more from both sides.  What we have going on right now just doesn't seem like it's going to serve us in the long run.
