Personally I chuckle a little when I hear "cleanse".  This cleanse, that cleanse, a lot of it sure seems at least a little hokey.

I agree with @YoDoug sometimes A LOT of things can be solved by diet, exercise, and common sense shit. But the take a pill, ingest this thing take the easy way out draw is STRONG. People juat want the easy way out.

Diet and exercise, take effort, commitment and discipline.  People are generally undisciplined, and they suffer for it but deny the root causes of their suffering.

There will be pain, suffering, and struggle in life no matter what. The choice of how is up to each person. You can choose pain, suffering, and struggle of leading a healthy, disciplined life, or the pain, suffering, and struggle of living in an unhealthy body.

Quote from: Newbeeee™ on May 20, 2025, 06:55 AMSo ref what she's talking about....Polysorbate 80

What she's talking about, and what the guys in the video she referenced are talking about, all seems like a bunch of hog wash.

The guys in the video keep saying that "they kept pushing ivermectin". Who is they? Then they say that it's "one of the most violent infertility toxins he's ever come across".

Who is this supposed toxicologist?  WTF is this lady?  Is there any proof out there that any version of ivermectin (or Polysorbate 80) causes infertility?

Any time someone posts something like

"Comment "deworm" below, and I will send you the protocol we use that uses nature to help safely remove toxins and parasites without all the added stuff."

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's probably a scam. She probably sends you a link to some b/s she's selling.

And WTF is "violent infertility"? Spontaneous abortion? Plan B?

I dislike when people just make shit up. Invent new terminology just to make a point.

People should be EXTREMELY wary of taking something that treats a specific range of things as a supplement to treat something else. I get it, Rogaine was created to treat something heart related and now, used as a topical, it helps regrow hair. But great care should be taken when ingesting things.

I just read about this not long ago.  Now that I'm in my mid 50's and my hair is starting to thin, my doc made some suggestions.

The version of the story I read was kinda funny. It talked about men having side effects from minoxidil, but it was the women who were the most vocal.  Something about unwanted facial hair?   :D

I think my Dad was mostly bald by the time he was 35.  I look a lot more like my mothers side of the family and nobody on that side has thinning hair. My doc says that she thinks that for me, it's being triggered by something else. I have a mild case of psoriasis that only seems to want to appear on my neck and scalp. She thinks that's what triggered the thinning hair.

If I start to look a little too much like gollum by the time I'm 60 I'll probably just shave it off.

Scotland was great for providing transparency - legally they had to issue the data, and this guy is great at collating it all.
Scotland recorded an unprecedented amount of infant deaths and stillborn's since 2021....and by memory, there were 5 "instant terminations" - ie, a mother is sat there and has her jabby, and the baby is instantly born - whether that was seconds, or within 5 minutes IDK, but the cases were classed as this aka dead birth.
Why Scotland was any different - I doubt it? My guess though, is Scotland recorded it....

It just goes to show - "peer reviewed studies aren't worth shit".... to paraphrase Richard Horton the Lancet chief....

Which then takes us full circle.

There is a hierarchy of studies. From low to high.

Epidemiology/Observational
Cohort
Mechanistic
Control studies
Meta-analysis
Mendelian randomization.

By no means is this the complete list of study types, but generally fits the broad type categories.

Each one provides different but applicable data. Each has their strong point and limitations. For something to be considered scientifically valid it should follow a trend across multiple kinds of studies. Beware of individual studies that go against the majority body of evidence.

An example would be the big craze right now that seed oils will kill you. Influencers are picking one small mechanistic study and ignoring the larger body of scientific studies.
