Technically, they already did (taxes) via tariffs.

Half of the things we're purchasing to do our jobs here at work are now including the tariff surcharge on the invoice. It's been anywhere from 5% to 8%. I assume that's because some of the cost is being eaten by the companies selling?

I haven't asked the big guy how much more we're paying for material at this point.

I just have a very different "feeling" this time....i'm sure they're gunna use Palantir with new "laws to spy on the illegals" with small print to say anybody else they decide to....and we then have skynet up and running.
