My heart aches for these brave social justice warriors and the courageous media members documenting their epic journey.

It takes a lot of heart to sail a private yacht carrying a trivial amount of aid into an active war zone knowing there is a military blockade between you and the dock. The attention you bring to this issue will raise awareness among the 10 or 20 people in the world not already aware of it and keep your name in the public eye. Except the people live in the jungles of Brazil and have not yet had contact with the outside world. And, really, much of the world is sick of your name.

At least she prioritized safety over courage of convictions when, after being arrested, she immediately caved and voluntarily agreed to be deported immediately.

I read a report this morning that said they tried to get Thunberg and friends to watch footage of the Oct 7 attack and they refused.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

If she had not agreed to voluntarily leave, she would have remained in custody while they went through the deportation process in court, just like four of her buddies did.

So. She committed a crime. She was arrested for the crime. She was offered two choices: leave voluntarily or remain in custody until the process for obtaining a legal deportation order is complete.

It sounds pretty due processy to me, but, hey, what do I know?

Since they were in a war zone, attempting to run a naval blockade designed to prevent arms shipments to Hamas, Israel could have, probably, legally blown up the yacht with them in it. That may not be true, but, like I said, what do I know?

This is a story that gets funnier as more details emerge.

Upon being intercepted, Thunberg and crew were offered bottled water and sandwiches.
The sandwiches, wrapped in plastic could have been either turkey or spicy pastrami, but were positivly not vegan.
After a short detention, Thunberg and three other activists were transported to Ben Gurion Airport to be deported, via emission causing airplane
