A sad day to be sure. He didn't look great in the documentary they just released, glad he was able to do it and get everyone who was still around back together. He was undeniably a true genius and savant when it came to music production.

He put out a lot of good music until he got derailed by drugs, like so many others.

As a kid, I never had a lot of appreciation for the Beach Boys. Mostly cause that was my dad's music. I mean, it can't be 'cool' if your dad likes it. :lol:

But as I got older it grew on me. I still listen to Good Vibrations and am blown away that nothing has ever sounded like it before or to this day.
