I'm trying to put together your point. 

You're talking about guilt, but saying that you object to me.

My whole point is that we shouldn't be defending people who protect child abusers.

There are people we expect to be able to trust with those children? When they breach that trust, they shouldn't be defended.

Beej tried to makes some points to justify it. Do you see those as valid points?

I don't because I've always known that I would be a shit parent. I've made a point not to put myself in a position that I would project my issues on to a child.  This is all by design on my part. We get in to disagreements on responsibility. I'm pro-choice but don't support abortion.  I don't have kids because I know that I would be a shit parent.  I'm all of the things you support but I support something that you disagree with. Because of that, I'm the enemy.

I love Beej. Some times I probably make myself look foolish by trying not to be offensive.  He has strong beliefs and I respect him for that. He's also polite and doesn't make arguments to be offensive.
