Maybe on the surface, but if you look at property ownership, foreign investors such as from China have been buying real estate to hide money here, driving up the housing prices, the 2 year ban on this has caused the housing prices to fall somewhat, but we need a permanent ban on this, I saw in the news they are now housing migrants in storage container camps, it's quite distopic , as for jobs, all the major companies are firing 10's of thousands of workers, so why do we need temporary workers or new citizens?
