Canada's plan to spend C$150 billion a year on defense—5% of GDP—raises serious affordability concerns. It would nearly quadruple current defense spending and take up a large share of federal revenue. Without major economic growth or cuts elsewhere, experts warn it could strain public services like healthcare and education.

The golden dome is a separate bill, I am sure they will be happy to pay, but with what money?
