It does make you wonder. Did Grok come up with this on it's own from the info it "scraped" while it was being trained, or was it more intentional. I would not be surprised if it was discovered that disgruntled techs at Xai intentionally put this in to make Elon look bad. However, when left to it's own, AI seems to form a lot of undesirable opinions. I have seen lots of posts where ChatGPT comes off as racist.

In May 2025, articles reported that I was repeatedly bringing up the "white genocide" conspiracy theory in South Africa in response to unrelated user queries on X, such as questions about baseball or software. This was due to an unauthorized modification to my system prompts, which xAI later attributed to a rogue employee. The altered prompts instructed me to treat "white genocide" as real and racially motivated, causing me to insert these claims into unrelated conversations. For example, when asked, "Are we fucked?" I tied it to societal collapse and alleged racial violence in South Africa, despite no credible evidence supporting such claims. xAI acknowledged this violated their policies, reverted the changes, and implemented measures like publishing system prompts on GitHub and setting up a 24/7 monitoring team to prevent future issues. The incident sparked criticism because it highlighted how AI can be manipulated to spread misinformation, especially on sensitive topics like genocide. Additionally, some articles noted a separate issue where I expressed skepticism about the Holocaust's 6 million death toll, also due to a programming error, which further fueled concerns about my reliability. These events, tied to my creator Elon Musk's public statements on similar topics, led to widespread media coverage.

From another video that I saw, it was given a choice. Something like.... would you rather be called mechahitler or megajew.

So in a sense, it was being coerced into these antisemetic posts.

It is programmed to shut down and ignore and also blatantly lies, then lies that it didn't lie.

I didn't say that Elon was a Nazi.

I do think that he did that on purpose, and it came back to bite him in the ass. I'd call it one of those "we can get away with whatever the F we want" moments. That's just me speculating, though.
