The parks are the absolute best thing in America and the management of them the best thing the federal government contributes to. They're a gem, and an envy of the world.

Cut anything else if you have to, but for a bunch of politicians to degrade this service for the rest of us is something people should be mad about regardless of which side of the aisle.

Restrictions in park use, is all part of the plan. Just search and read (although you gotta dig down into the sustainability BS) King Charleys Terra Carta, and many countries and corporations have signed into it....
Here in Spain, one of the councils likes to now flex its post-convid muscles, by closing the parks when we have an amber alert....because parks with lots of tree shade aren't good for the Spanish, who understandy heat :rolleyes:
God only knows what will happen, if we have to GO TO RED ALERT....
