I've never been a fan of super-hot hot sauces and my go-to has been Louisiana Red Hot or Cholula.

But recently I bought a bottle of The Hot Ones' Classic sauce.
Wow the flavor is 10x what I expected. Not too hot either.
Highly recommend.

I might have to try that. I put hot sauce on everything.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Yeah I've always just stuck with the cayenne sauces so that could be why the flavor just pops so much for me.
This one is Chili de Arbol.

I also bought their Los Caliente sauce too. Quite a bit hotter and really good flavor as well but since I like more than a small dab on my food, it's too hot after a couple of bites.

Many shops ago.

Someone had introduced a few bottles of "Dave's Insanity Sauce"

To The Break room Tables.

Needless to say Dares and Double Dares occurred.

End result was a mid shift Ambulance call. :flame:  :flame:

Removal of the product.

And a Stern HR warning. C:-)  C:-)

I've been cooking a lot of Mexican in the past 6 months or so. Arbol is amazing. My other go-to's are Guajillo and Morita. I love smoky heat, especially with pork and chicken. And most of the marinades are essentially just fresh hot sauces too, orange/fruit juice, vinegar, some dried spices, onions and hot peppers.

I have never tried any of the Hot Ones sauces, but my wife loves watching the show. All the sauces they describe sound great, maybe I'll grab one for next wing night!

Is that the one with the brain on the bottle cap? Tastes like buckwheat, and jet-fuel-melted steel beams?

All I remember was flames on the Label. and a very small warning sign.

It was just a plastic spoonful (Spork). ::)

And he was a big boy. (we nicknamed him "Free Willy") :D

Medics had to carry him down to the stretcher. :(
