I think that the bulk of the media would have ignored the negatives if a Democrat president had made this same deal.

just announced that the 2nd quarter GDP came in at 3%

right wing publications are excited. Left wing publications are saying, yeah but if you combine with the horrible 1st quarter it's only 1.25%. It is really important right now, not to have hope, I guess.

If the economy is down on Trump's last day in office it will be all his fault

If the economy is booming it will be due to the great economy Trump inherited from Biden.

Trump and the Fox News types blamed Biden when the market started to crash after Trump implemented the "sweeping tariffs".

I don't think it's that "it's important not to have hope".

The report I listened to on this deal came from Saagar Enjeti, who as I've said before, voted for Trump. His reporting wasn't too optimistic, and that can't be blamed on a leftist perspective. It had everything to do with the details of the "deal".

Maybe Saagar will be the next to make a "I was wrong" video?

The majority of people do not understand how "the market" works. More than anything "the market" loathes uncertainty. Large chunks of "The market" do not espouse the "wait and see" mode of operation. Uncertainty creates panic, panic creates more panic and soon after that we're crashing.
