What does that have to do with what you said?

My point was Biden was feeding a fight. Trump is trying to end it. Putin is vicious. We don't want to be involved.

This is an interesting and disturbing article.

That was an interesting and disturbing article. I'm kinda surprised you'd read it, let alone post about it here. His conclusion doesn't support what Trump is likely to do in the near future.

I've read quite a few articles in the last year or so about how the U.S. military is not ready for what warfare is likely to be now.

Here is another interesting and disturbing article from the same web site.

Can the U.S. Stand Up to Putin?

Neither do I.

You may recall, the US and NATO guaranteed Ukraine's security if they would surrender their nuclear arsenal.
Our promises have proven to be meaningless.
Strong arming Ukraine into a worthless peace deal further illustrates the real value of American promises.
It only postpones the day Russia gobbles up Ukraine and moves onto it's next conquest.
Only total defeat on the battlefield will stop Putin's dreams of conquest.

And we all know that ain't happening.

No way Ukraine defeats Russia in any sense of the definition.

Best case scenario Ukraine forces Russia into a war of attrition... they don't have the population to support that, and even if they did, they would be done as a people. ALL of their warrior stock will have been depleted amd you can't rebuild a nation on the remanats of those genetics.

I DO put this entire situation at the feet of Biden. He let his administration engage in talking out loud regarding  Ukraine joining NATO, which left Putin no choice but to wage war against Ukraine.

NATO's charter states admission requires the joining nation to not be involved in any active conflicts. Putin couldn't take the risk Ukraine would be admitted.

Putin is a straight up gangster who welcomes the opportunity to do gangster shit. Biden gave him license.

Settle down Beavis, it was a joke. Trump likes to run his mouth, but I doubt he would have the balls to shit talk someone like Putin without the military standing behind him. He would find himself thrown out of a window from a tall building. My fist fight joke was meant in lieu of getting the military involved, but your fake dim witted outrage and Trump oversensitivity is duly noted.

Now Xi on the other hand? Maybe you could see those two going at it in mawashi? They both have the build for it?

One thing we learned from the summit. Putin isn't intimidated, and he's not just going to roll over for Trump. But at least I didn't call Trump a wet noodle?

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Historical meeting at Whitehouse with Zelenskyy and European leaders today. Trump is working it. I doubt Putin concedes anything so we will have to push him out in my opinion.

I think when Putin sees everyone at the table he may reconsider.

Trump is Smart. :)

I find that unlikely.

Ultimately Ukraine will have to give up some portion of their country to Russia.  My bet is we'll fund some sort of reconstruction in Ukraine and our service men and women will guard that area.
How will Ukraine pay us back?  Naaa, we'll just add to the debt

All this mega-debt owed to each country central bank....not just Murrica, all the "western world".
I remember in 2000 Greece had to sign over public assets as collateral for one of their mega bailouts. I never could find what, but whether council offices, police/fire stations or hospitals IDK.
We genuinely have no idea what has happened behind the scene, but come the day of call-in, my 10 bucks says the central banks will "legally take ownership" of a lot of infrastructure.
Legally.
Just like it's been planned.
All along.

I think it's getting closer to NATO pushing Putin out of Ukraine. He's not going to stop.
