anybody else getting these?
I'm getting stuff like this from Hexagon 2 or three times a week.... and cold calls from salesmen too,
They must be hungry.

We had to replace our CMM PC a few months ago and were down for 2 weeks waiting for a new license
I'm not real impressed with the customer service.

QuoteYou hit a roadblock in your CAM workflow. Your vendor doesn't call back. You're stuck. Machines sit. Production stalls.

That's not support. That's abandonment.
You deserve a partner who picks up, fixes it, and keeps your shop running.

ESPRIT EDGE includes full-time, dedicated application engineers.
Real humans. Fast answers. From people who know your machine inside and out.

Pair that with edit-free G-code, digital twin simulation, and smart automation, and you've got a CAM system that works as hard as you do.

Action:
✔ 20% off new ESPRIT EDGE licenses
✔ 0% financing for 12 months — ends Dec 22, 2025

💡 Don't wait. This deal's built for shops ready to cut faster, smarter, and cleaner.

My time dealing with them was just as bad on the PcDmiss side. The only grace we had was our local Brown and Sharp rep that taught the class for the software was a guru. As hexagon took a stronger grip on things our rep still provided us with front line help unofficially of course.

Yeah, I've received lots of emails from Hexagon lately, too....20% discounts and free financing, to boot!

I haven't used Esprit, though some of us TopSolid users on the Slack group have (one fellow there is back at a job using Esprit, and occasionally pops in to remind us to quit our sniveling about TS) and it's been interesting to hear their comments.

To be fair, CAD/CAM seems to bring out lots of folks with lots of strong opinions (it's gotta be right up there with religion and pro sports-LOL).

Any current/former Esprit users here? Thoughts?

I used Esprit for WEDM and loved it.

I'd always heard it was great for wire!

Yes... this was a PcDmiss license.
Our account was in order, no outstanding bills and our PC failed.
We got a new PC and it took 2 weeks to get a license.

In 2013 when we bought our first Okuma 5X MU1000 I issued a challenge to different software vendors.
I gave them a model of one of our open impellers and asked them to rough it.
At the time I was doing them in Mastercam, which was very labor intensive and produced less than optimal results.

NX declined my challenge.

SolidCam spent an hour hyping iMachining and talking around my challenge

Espirt spent 2 weeks on it, demoed a couple of lame cuts I knew would not work, then called
and complained to my boss that I had broken an agreement to buy a seat.

hyperMill came to our plant 4 days later with a posted file which killed it.

Same here.  we were using PCdmis for on machine inspection and it was rough!  We figured most of it out by trial and error then made good notes.

so true.  I feel like they are here at least every other month the a slightly newer version of the same thing we already have.  the inspection manager must enjoy talking to them or something.

We bought our first CMM a couple years ago. It runs PC-DMIS. Hexagon sucks to deal with. I was originally involved with the initial purchase. Since then "ownership" of the CMM is under a different employee. I get emails all the time for contract renewals, payment request, etc. I reply and tell the person that supposedly the email came from and they say it is not their department and transfer me to someone else. It is never ending. It is the classic big corp too many people involved to be effective. Cluster fuck.
