Anyone heard of these? Supposedly you can buy a Kit and assemble it yourself.
Are these through manufacturers?
Are any of them Reputable?
Whats The Dish?

I'm asking cause Biden is trying to Ban them so I have heard.

I would assume some 3D printers would be involved.

Is an 80% lower cut to 100% and then attached to an upper considered a ghost gun? This can be done easily with no serial number.

Yeah there's several eyewitness accounts of Civil War apparitions carrying ghost guns.  :turned:

"NOT on Biden's Watch!"

LOL.  I didn't even notice.

Most of those were in the song forum and shouldn't count.   At some point I made it so the song forum didn't add to your post count.  I started to realize that I was getting a ridiculous number of posts that weren't actually contributing to any conversation.

Basically it's the serialized part, but unfinished when you buy it.  You finish the kit yourself and it doesn't require a serial number.  80% lowers or polymer 80 glock kits are the most popular.

I'm willing to bet they are not what criminals use, even though that's the basis they're using to try to ban them.

Several years someone was building and selling a dedicated CNC machine that milled 80% lowers into
100% lowers
It was the size of a large microwave oven and with the fixtures, NC file and perishable tooling
I forget the of it, but  read a review in a magazine and it did perform as advertised

That is exactly what some consider. On a AR platform, the lower has the serial number and is considered to be the gun. The market for 80% lowers was/is HUGE...countless shops could make them without the hassle of having a FFL.
Glock kits are also popular. On the not so popular front, I've seen 80% Remington 700 receivers.

SO making a firearm, in your own shop, for your own use, something that has been legal since before this country was founded, will now be deemed a felony...

When you don't have enough criminals, well then you need to make more
