Too bad most of them are either not bright enough to know that, or they simply don't care.

I don't care either if they don't.
Most of them are sheltered, pampered multi-millionaires who never had a real job and are so disconnected from reality it's almost laughable.

The US Olympic and Paralympic committees have approved political statements like kneeling and raising fists at the Olympic Trials for the upcoming Summer Games in Tokyo.

The International Olympic Committee still holds a firm position that political protests of any kind are in direct conflict with their established principles, but we'll see how long it takes for them to cave as well.

As far as I am concerned, if an Olympic athlete is not proud to compete under their nation's flag they should stay home.

Still, if an entertainer or brand chooses to insert themselves into politics, bashing conservatives is usually the safer choice. This could be because those on  'the right' are more willing to accept alternative opinions, believe in free markets...or it might just be because they have jobs which distract from their activism.

If a CEO or Commissioner is too stupid to understand that picking a political side of anything is costing the shareholders/owners money should be fired on the spot.

I used to be one of Amazon's biggest fans

it's woke employees don't like, I have been going out of my way
to not buy from Amazon.

I used to follow Amazon. Not for buying stuff but keeping an eye out for how many stores they were shutting down. As of five years ago the Amazon store has never made a profit and I would suspect it still hasn't. There's no need for them to since they are number one in the Cloud services.

The biggest failure in this whole picking sides adventure to me is SO many of these celebrities have forgotten that they are entertainment. They are what we use to escape our daily realities for a few hours, and when they cease to be entertainment they are discarded. The over inflated ego is ridiculous. They are modern day court jesters. Not to be taken seriously.
