I'm starting to wonder if Disney is playing 4D chess on this issue.

Disney gets rid of the dog of a show host it's wanted to get rid of for some time, since it isn't even in the same galaxy of pulling it's weight on the network. The turd talks some shit that could become a real legal issue about a beloved American Patriot recently murdered. 

In comes #OrangeManBad, leans on the FCC and Disney... You know it, I know it, and only the non brain dead among us knows it; Disney doesn't fight it one bit.

The left are idiots, they don't see Disney is framing the downfall for that late night turd on #OrangeManBad and they buy it hook line and sinker.

Even though this list isn't an apples to apples comparison, I thought these two "cancellings" were ridiculous.

I can't listen to Megyn Kelly these days. Once her more balanced approach turned full grifter (I'm not going to argue or explain that, it's my opinion - I have the same about Ben Shapiro). I used to listen to her regularly when she started her new podcast.

No, I don't just like Gena because I have a thing for women who can kick my ass.   The comments that got her cancelled were insensitive at best. I'm also not a Jew so

I'm not sure what you mean by "fixable". To me, in Cerano's case, there was nothing to fix. That may be my ignorance speaking for me. I'm not sensitive to holocaust comparisons. The blackface Halloween justification is a little more difficult to defend, but I feel like there was more to that story? I grew up in an era where I can relate to what she was saying.

Ok so then how do you justify the fact that mehan kelly talked about black face costumes, and lost her job. But jimmy Kimmel actually dressed up in black face costumes on his show but kept his job? Apples and oranges, still?

Me personally - I think it depends on the comment and the intent.

If there is a clear policy in place then it is what it is.

As far as caving to public pressure in a business that relies on advertizing - I'm glad that I'm not the one having to make those decisions because I'm almost certain that more times than not, I would make the wrong one.

He wouldn't do it today and the reason he wouldn't do it is exactly the point I'm making. Democrats keep changing the rules,  specifically to use them against conservatives. In 2000 blackface was fine in 2018 it is a firable offense. In 2008 Obama was against gay marriage in 2014 he said if you are against it, you're a bigot. In 2019 mostly peaceful protests were ok by 2021 they are a danger to democracy. In 2020, heck even in 2024 democrats were actively arguing against free speech look at them now.

I'm not sure what to say about this. Efforts to reduce what's seen as acceptable racism affects/targets only conservatives?   

I was pro gay marriage in the 90's. I never understood what the problem there was, but then again, I don't have the good book telling me that it's a sin. I thought that everyone was nuts when it came to gay marriage. Why shouldn't a gay person have just as much right to be miserable as anyone else? 

Jan 6th wasn't just a riot. But we've beaten that horse to death. No riot should be acceptable.
