If anyone on the left had said anything remotely as bad it would have been plastered all over the mainstream media 24/7.

Did anyone hold up a bloody head of Biden or Obama? Nope.
Is there any Conservative media that is spewing hatred like The View and MSNBC and CNN does daily? If there is, show me.

Have there been mass riots across the country because the right didn't get their way? Nope.
How many public murders have the right committed recently versus the left?

I don't watch those shows, mostly for the reasons you describe. But I can't do anything about them either. What I can do, is guard myself. And as iron sharpens iron, so one man another. I will call out what disgusts me when I see it. That bloody head incident was awful. no doubt! But I have to say there are some things that happen here on this forum by people who vote the same as I do that make my stomach turn. Sometimes by people who on one post defend christianity and in another post refer to Michele Obama as an ape, or Mike. Or called a presidential candidate kumbucket. it is disgusting.

Charlie Kirk would have never done that. If you think his life is worthy of honor, act accordingly.

this idea that, "at least I'm not as bad as them"  Every single prison I go in to to minister to as people in it, that look at the other felons and say, at least I'm not that guy. I may have raped a woman, but I don't rape kids. Or another guy says, I may have raped a little girl, but I didn't rape little boys.

After reading some of the comments in this thread, you start to appreciate how reasonable of a person Beej is. 

Part of the paroblem is people's inability or lack of willingness to self reflect or acknowledge (maybe because they choose to retreat to echo chambers or are constantly feeding their confirmation bias) the flaws in their own party. 

Judging some of the posts I've seen on social media in the past two days, that is definitely NOT limited to one side.
