It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Trump grants tariff breaks to 'politically connected' companies, Senate Dems say

Excerpt:
QuoteThe letter comes at a time when President Trump is visibly favoring some companies and investors, some of whom have publicly courted him with personal gifts — like the gold-plated desk clock recently presented by Rolex's CEO — and donations to his controversial plans to build a White House ballroom.

This blurring of the lines between business and government has led political commentators and business leaders across the political spectrum to warn that the United States is tipping into "crony capitalism."

Doesn't Argentina have some of the best beef in the world? I have no doubt that Billy Joe's Artisinal Grass Fed Texas Steers would be better, but American factory farms overall? No way. I'd trust Vanguard more than the FDA/USDA in that respect.

I'll be up here with my Alberta AAA Prime though, them separatists cowboys know their cattle.

Inflation has really hit the beef industry in the US. feed cost, fuel cost, land leasing etc. So they have downsized. this in turn raised consumer cost of beef. supply and demand.
so importing is gonna add gas to the fire.

just a little insight. family runs a small ranch

I thought Trump was putting an end to inflation?
