June 18, 2020: Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide order requiring face coverings in most indoor settings and outdoors when physical distancing was not possible. This overrode local county rules and applied to settings such as public transit, healthcare, and workplaces.


September 2025: Governor Newsom signed a bill banning most on-duty law enforcement officers from wearing masks, with exceptions for medical needs or undercover work. This was in response to masked federal agents in immigration enforcement actions.

Cali has spent decades demonizing the oil industry and regulating refineries to the point that one has already shut down and second will cease operations in the near future.


With gas and electricity both at record highs, Newsome is in negotiations to restart production in some long
dormant Cali oil fields and is offering a refinery hundreds on millions of dollars not to shut down.

there is a lady from our home town who is being held by ICE. She is from Ireland. She is here on a green card legally and married to an American citizen. She's been here 41 years. But she wrote a bad check 25 years ago, at least that's the story being floated in the media. I don't think she should be deported over that. It really seems like an over-reach especially since she made good on the bad check.

But I also have to say, this sort of debunks the whole, "Trump is sending out the brown people" narrative.
