Quote from: gcode on October 07, 2025, 05:20 AMand a whole lot of it goes to fraud

example.. SNAP recipients buy dozens of cases of soda with their SNAP cards
then sell it back local stores for cash at discounted price.

The SNAP recipients get cash for dope and party time.. the store owners get to sell the same item twice.

"A whole lot of it" 🙄

Again with the Nutcon facts again. Care to cite a source, and let us know how much fraud is acceptable?

Quote from: beej on October 07, 2025, 06:23 AMIt is tempting to do so, the only reason that I haven't is because of what that would do to my MIL and FIL who live beside me in Missouri. They are both good people, that I love dearly. They have tried to tell them to get married and quit this charade, but then it causes arguments and keeps them from seeing their grandchildren.

You are clearly not doing your part. Or, you don't want anyone gaming the system unless it's someone close to you who benefits. Classic human nature, and totally understandable.

I don't know how I could have been more clear that I do not want them gaming the system. If you can twist my thoughts in to that, it really reduces credibility of post you make.

At the far ends yes. The far end of the left is Socialism and Communism. The experiment is about to start in NYC.

I dunno man, talking mules are pretty lighthearted. He was a combat veteran too. Good guy.

The study said 1.27 billion a year.  :secret:  Still not great. Or even good.

I don't know the details of the study. Who's doing the trafficking, etc.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I don't know if you can get a pass on this one.

You have staked out an unambiguous position that fraud is to be fought and eliminated, even if that messes with people's lives.

And then your own actions do not follow your stated principals.

you're right. I should turn them in. If my MIL and FIL were passed away, I probably would.
