You do also realize that TDS has nothing to do with this part of the conversation.  It has become about moral ambiguity at this point.  Knowing the 'right' thing and claiming any moral authority or high ground while not doing the right thing is a waste of pixels on this thread.  Claiming that one needs other people to be dead in order for one to be able to do the thing one knows is right is even more bizarre.  All I'm saying is knowing what's right and lacking the conviction to DO the right thing is a straight up invitation to STFU about self-discipline and consequences.  (See posts 45 and 51)

LOL. I used the same reasoning (respect for my FIL's hatred for Trump) not to vote for Trump this past year. you should study up on respect sometime, you might find it an interesting concept

my convictions and stated beliefs are not really in conflict. The problem is that you have no basic understanding of my world view or even a desire to understand it, and therefore we can not even have a rational conversation.

I really do care what other people think. I've modified some of my beliefs from conversations with people here. but when your words get twisted from "I have so much respect for my in-laws" to "He wants his in-laws to die" it's really beyond any kind of conversing at that point.
