Quote from: jstell on October 14, 2025, 02:23 PMYou've got it!  We should shut down the schools and just put movie screens on the outside.  Then the kids and their families can sit in the parking lots or playgrounds and watch propaganda films from the drumpf reich.
Better than the alternative!
This is what the Dumbocratic party wants to open the gov't:

Quote from: beej on October 15, 2025, 07:40 AMYeah, you've got me confused on that statement. Was Roosevelt wrong for all of the Govt sponsored propaganda during WWII? or for "encouraging" Hollywood to make patriotic movies during that time?

Did Roosevelt ever use the propaganda to denigrate his political opponents in Washington?

Interesting read.  This struck me as funny:  "In 2017, this would be akin to staffers from a congressional committee and the FCC teaming up at the headquarters of Google and Yahoo! and then spending months secretly searching emails."
...like they don't.  Ok, maybe not FCC but possibly some congressional committees, and it's pretty much standard operating procedure for NSA.  I'm certain there's no political motivation though. ;)

That would mean Trump has found a way to subvert the constitution.  That would be bad for everyone.
