You said that "Venezuela is a major transit hub for drugs", which is also true, but NOT to the US. A fraction of the drugs that come in to the US, come through Venezuela. Most come from Mexico.

For one thing, you would have to actually believe that drugs are the reason. We've had covert operations going on there for some time, so, I don't.

You guys are missing out on the real scoop....after we took care of Nigeria/Iran for harboring all of that yellowcake uranium, the bad guys just pivoted and said "no problemo, hombre, we'll just start moving drugs thru Venezuela."
