Somehow, I doubt you had such strong feelings when Obama was droning the shit out targets across the middle east.  

I wasn't on this forum whining about it, anyway.  One could argue there are some differences.  We were actively in an anti-terrorist war in two countries, tracking folks who engage asymmetrically and who there was specific evidence that they were legitimate targets.  And also they were generally murderous targets, not opium farmers.

Was I pissed about collateral damage.  Absolutely!  We continue to make enemies faster than we can kill them.

It is definitely an useless war here. As long as the supply gets here, it is a losing battle. We have not inflicted NEARLY enough damage to the countries growing, distributing, or manufacturing, this stuff. I'm done with the carrot. I'm done with the stick. It it long overdue for SERIOUS weaponry. We won't do that because it's how the CIA funds it's covert operations.

To them wealth is a zero sum game. Which anyone with two functioning brain cells knows is not the case.

Nearly every country in Africa could be wealthy beyond their imaginations. They just are not capable of effectively managing it. Just like how most lottery winners go bankrupt. They are just not capable of effectively managing it. Just like Pro-Athletes, Rock-Stars, etc... are more often than not broke sooner rather than later. They just are not effective at managing it.

When I was growing up in Rowland Heights, California in the 80's... we had a neighbor that was a coke head. We all knew when he was on a bender... we'd go to sleep and his HOUSE was one color. We'd wake up in the morning and it would be another color and he was working on the trim.
