Gotta keep Lockeed, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Harris, and Northrop afloat....

Quote from: CNCAppsJames on December 05, 2025, 11:55 AMIt is definitely an useless war here. As long as the supply gets here, it is a losing battle. We have not inflicted NEARLY enough damage to the countries growing, distributing, or manufacturing, this stuff. I'm done with the carrot. I'm done with the stick. It it long overdue for SERIOUS weaponry. We won't do that because it's how the CIA funds it's covert operations.

I'm sure that drug addicts would just quit if their supply of cocaine dried up. No way would they abuse prescription opiates. And what about Meth, LSD, or other designer drugs that a half-way competent chemistry major could whip up.

Yeah! lets do us some extra-judicial killings.

Oh, and BTW I learned about not following illegal orders back in Basic training in the Seventies. When did the Military Code of Conduct change?

You don't see people calling for them to be blown up.

As a recovering addict myself, 14,135 days clean... one day at a time, I can say with relative certainty that accessibility does indeed have an effect on some addicts. Going after users IMHO has always been a losing battle, and always will be a losing battle. That does not mean they should be allowed to break whatever possession laws are on the books. Many addicts are going to choose that addiction life and there isn't anything anyone can do about it. No amount of treatment, incarceration, punishment, etc.. will change that mindset. They either want to be clean with every fiber of their being or they don't.

Extra judicial killings of drug runners... 100% I voted for that. Live that gangsta life and that's a real possibility that happens. I hold the same opinion of the guys driving their subs and cigarette boats as I do Taliban/Al Queda.

It's a shame flag officers under Robert McNamara never got the Military Code of Conduct memo. That turd in buried in Arlington National Cemetary of all places. :coffee:

Unfortunately, they do take some surrounding houses with them on occasion.

You do know that some of the people "running those cigarette boats", are just villagers and fishermen trying to feed their families? Hired by cartels. This is per investigative journalists, so take that with a grain of salt I guess.

Did you also vote for the dude who was responsible for trafficking all of that cocaine in to the US to be pardoned?

I do not doubt that many are just regular folks one bit. That makes them innocent?

No, but since when has drug trafficking in the US been an automatic death sentence without any proof or due process been a thing?

It seems like there are some contradictions in what who you "voted for" is doing?

We should make a poll on who in here has enjoyed a little cocaine back in the 80's/90's

Quote from: neurosis on December 05, 2025, 12:23 PMDoes that give us the right to intervene in every country that we don't like how it's being run?

Imagine a world where we didn't spend a ridiculous amount on our military and another country didn't care for how we do things and said that we needed the fixing.
I'd prefer we stay out of other countries' affairs... so long as their mismanagement doesn't affect us. We'd have to get rid of the CIA for that to happen though. I'm not holding my breath for that.

I'm pretty sure we're smoking dudes in International Waters. Am I wrong on that?

Defense is ONE of the things the US Government actually, constitutionally charged with doing. How about we eliminate ALL the other spending first and see where that gets us? :coffee:
