Just finished watching "A House of Dynamite" on Netflix. It's about how our government would respond to a nuclear attack, with some interesting wrinkles in it.

I saw a few articles about the movie in print, analyzing how realistic it was, and it caught my attention.

It's a pretty intense movie. After watching it I read the analysis, and for the most part the writers said it was pretty close to what really happens.

Well worth a watch if you're into those kind of thriller movies.

I watched it this weekend, I could see if happened this way.

Bad ending. Interesting movie (kind of disturbing).

Yeah, they just kept rewinding and analyzing from different viewpoints.
I didn't even get to see something get blown up  >:(
A decent amount of their terminology used for our defensive systems was pretty accurate.

Watched it the other evening. Movie was okay. Rebecca Ferguson is hot.

I didn't think it was a bad ending. It was thought provoking.

Although considering what was known about the launch I think there was only one response a reasonable person could make.

Gemini told me the Pentagon disputed the movie claims, saying they are 100% accurate. But then Gemini remarks that is under ideal test conditions, and when factoring in the uncertainties in such an event - the coin toss is most likely more accurate.

I hated the ending, Smit, but it does make you think (good point).

Oh and the movie depicting the US doesn't know the exact origin of the missile launch. On that point, Gemini and the Pentagon are in full agreement. That there's basically a 0% chance we wouldn't know who launched it.

There was a line in the movie that covered the launch point. A guy suggested if we didn't know the missile launch point it must have been the result of a cyber attack.

Considering a bunch of our cyber attack defenses have been "doged" that's kind of a sobering thought.
